After a hard day (Kim)

Once she got home from the little visit at the school and gaining a new friend who she would be seeing later, she went home. She let Oreo out into the field along with their Belgian Tervuren Kasha and their Cardigan welsh Corgi Toby. Having three herding dogs was a littl hard but they were all very well trained and very well taken care of. They were still used for their original purpose which was herding and they did it very well. Then she fed all the animals for the afternoon, cleaned the chicken coop, and milked a couple cows which took alot of of her. She finished up around noon and then headed back into her nice air conditioned room and slammed down onto her bed to rest for just a minute.

She only layed there to rest for a second but she ended up falling asleep. Then it was about three fifteen when her mom came into her room and woke her. "Rin hun, don't you have to go pick up your friend? It's past three" Rin stirred in her sleep then opened up her eyes then looked to her clock then shot out of bed. "Shit! I'm late!" She got up and she changed her clothes after being in the ones she was in to take care of animals they smelt like the animals. So she changed into a black tank top and a dark blue skirt and she then grabbed her mom's care keys and headed out finally.

She was in such a rush she didn't even grab her cell phone. But she was in a hurry so she didn't care. "Damn it Kim's probably going to think I forgot!" Rin sighed heavily and rushed out of her driveway and headed back down to the school, she kind of wished she had her own car. For now she was stuck driving her mom's Subaru outback but it was good enough and got her where she needed to go. She was driving down the road and listening to Tick Tock from Kesha that was playing from her Ipod that she could hook into the car and play from the car speakers. She then got stuck at the red light and she growled a bit then punched the passenger seat.

She then sighed heavily and then slapped the steering wheel since she was getting angry. "God damn it! Stupid light change already I'm in a fucken hurry!" She yelled then she groaned and then saw it changed after what seemed to be forever and she took off again and finally made it to the school and she parked in front which she was shocked that she could. Then she opened up her window "Sorry I'm late..." Rin sighed a bit more then ran her fingers through her light purple hair and lightly chewed on her toothpick as she waited for Kim to hop into the car so they could head to her house then have the fun start.

Kim sat in her english class studiously reading the assigned material by the teacher. The story was interesting, for once, and she managed to calm her erratic nerves. Finishing the chapter she spun her pencil between her fingers and thought up a proper response. The clock beat behind her and the chewing of gum behind her went in stride with it. I have to remain focused, she thought, English shouldn't be this nerve wracking...math does that all by itself. The class ended shortly and she handed in her assignment before walking out the door with a relieved smile on her face. There was only one more class before 3, then, she could meet the girl who helped her find her locker and made this school year that more interesting.

The last class of the day was math. The algebra was annoyingly long, and not just the class, but the problems assigned as well. Chewing her nails she worked her way around the problems that would give her...problems. There were no clocks in this class, so, she had to rely on the speedy Jonathan. John, as people called him, had a watch that was in tune with the bell system in the school. Everyday when the bell rang he was the first one out of his seat, his legs seemed rigged to do that. Suddenly John lifted and she did the same, the teacher was about to scold them...but the bell caught every word.

Yes, she thought, school is finally over. Hurrying out of the class she went to her locker and placed her unusued books inside. Rushing down the hall she didn't even notice how high her legs went; which for a girl, meant some would see what she wore beneath. Still she didn't care, she was only thinking about Rin and seeing her again. Sunlight met her pink hair and school uniform bound body as her feet touched down near the parking lot. Antcipation kept her from staying in one place and her hand panned across her forehead looking across the parking lot. Time grew on and she sat on the steps chewing her nails and feeling a dry wind tug at her long hair. Where was she?

Hearing the squeal of wheels she pushed up from the steps and walked over to the car. "It's alright, I mean, better then you not showing up." Smiling at Rin she opened the passenger door and slid in next to her. Closing the door and buckling up she settled her head back against the seat and sighed. "Your lucky I wanted to see you again, other wise I'd have headed home," she joked. Blushing as she realized what she said she hid her face in her long hair and chewed her nails again.

She just sighed as she noticed the girl she had come to pick up and she left horrible. She never expected to fall asleep but after finishing a bunch of things she had gotten so tired and couldn't help it. But she was there now which she good so that way they could get their little party started which she did have a few things in mind. Like of course showing Kim the pond and introducing her to all the animals they had in the farm. Then seeing her come over to the car she smiled "I'm sorry, when I got home I had a bunch of stuff to do and by time I was done I was really tired, I went to my bed to rest for a second and ended up falling asleep."

She was known for doing that but she took pride in it, most of the time anyway. Rin then made sure Kim was in the car and buckled then she backed out and headed back down the road then she looked to the pink haired girl when she spoke again and she giggled. "Aww I'm glad that didn't happen or the rest of my day would have been ruined" she giggled more then turned her full attention to the road. Then she remembered something before anything else went down "ok, where do you live? I'm sure you want to change out of that uniform and I would highly suggest you grab your bathing suit."

Because she knew for a fact they would be swimming today since it was so hot. As she went down the road of course she turned down the volume on the radio so her Ipod music didn't blast through the whole car and beyond. "Oh I guess I should tell you that you'll run into alot of animals once we get to my house like the farm animals plus my other two dogs, you already met Oreo." But as long as Kim liked animals or at least wasn't afraid of them she'd be fine and none of them were big and bad or anything, in fact most of them loved people. She just couldn't wait until everything got started and they could have fun.

"It's alright," Kim said to Rin's explanation, "I totally understand the mayhem of chores and work alike. Occassionally my mom has me do chores around the house or I get caught up in school work I really forget about the time at hand." Sleep just came naturally, and to fight it would lead to headaches and eventually succumbing to sleep in the worst possible places. She remembered once falling asleep during one of the family get togethers. It was quite embarrassing really, mainly because her grandmother, who barely came down, was talking of their family tree. She was grounded just for that, and well, she made sure it never happened again that was for sure.

"I'd hate for that to happen," Kim smiled weakly, "I mean then I'd feel bad and having you feel bad would just be awful." Looking out the window she gave some thought as to where she lived. Caught up in being with Rin she almost forgot, now it came back to her and she took her fingers out of her mouth. "I live just around the corner. I usually walk home seeing how I haven't got my license yet. My mom is probably at her job so your free to come in if you want." Before she turned down the music she thought she recognized Lady Gaga playing. Smiling she listened to Rin talk of the animals she was likely to meet.

"I don't mind animals," Kim told her, "in fact visiting the zoo used to be a pass time of mine. When I was five I'd go just to see the elephants. They are huge and friendly, plus, the power of their trunks can come close to breaking a branch off a tree...and by a branch a usually massive one." Giggling she watched cars pass and saw her home approaching fast. It was painted in blue and had a nice sized front yard that had gnomes and a bench situated just near the door.

She kept her eyes on the road and hearing Kim say she didn't live too far from the school she smiled. She then turned and then noticed one house and guessed it was hers and pulled into the driveway and she put the bark on and sat there for a minute. "Yea I don't mind my chores since it's with the animals and animals are my life, it's tiring but I enjoy it." Then hearing her say her mom wasn't home she smiled and then Rin turned off the car and took out the keys and slipped them into her pocket. She then looked around the front yard and she looked around the outside of the house and she thought it looked nice for people who didn't live on a farm like her.

Then she guessed Kim would have to go in so she just waited until she went in. Because she wasn't going to barge into someone else's house whether she had permission or not. Rin then kept looking around because she was a bit curious about everything and wanted to see the inside too but she waited until Kim was going to go inside. She always felt like she was in another country when she was at a house that didn't have a barn in the back with the chicken coop to the side and a few acres in the back as well. So she always looked around and everything, almost like a kid in a candy store.

Then she looked to Kim when she spoke again the animals and she smiled. She was glad that they weren't going to be an issue to her, she was very glad. Rin smiled brightly "great! It'll be awesome but we'll go swimming before dealing with the animals, it'll be more fun that way." It was hot right now bad enough as it was, so she wanted to swim. She normally rode Raine down to the pond but she guessed Kim didn't know how to ride a horse so they could walk, it wasn't too far away but she liked to ride her horse down there because she found it more fun but she would walk today, gave her and Kim more time to talk.

Kim gave an understanding smile as Rin spoke of her life. Dealing with farm animals was tiring, she imagined, though if I had to live that life...being with the animals would make it more fun then work. Approaching the front door she noticed that Rin was staying behind. I know that feeling, she thought, it is the feeling of being a stranger outside one's own home. When I used to go to a friends house I would stay in the living room, just afraid to even go in their room. Their parents would often talk to me, which was nice, but, it still didn't take away the fact that I wasn't home. Sleep overs were pretty awful because a sleeping bag just wan't enough to keep me safe from nightmares or the sorts. Unlocking the door she caught that smell that told her she was home.

"Alright Rin...your invited in now." Giggling she walked into the house and stared at the safety of the living room where several couches were and one recliner. The kitchen wasn't too far away with a island where conversation and daily chatter commenced to start the day. There were stairs leading up to her room and that was where her bathing suit was. "Make yourself at home. Should you feel thirsty there are some refreshments in the fridge. I'll be back in a few."

Setting one foot on the stair she smiled over her shoulder. "I'd invite you to my room, but, not sure you'd want to see me undressed and all." Blushing as she said that she fled up the stairs into the safety of her room. Placing her back to the wall she held her chest and tried to calm her beating heart. "Steady the nerves...take a breath...now where is that swim suit?" It had been a while since she went swimming so she rummaged through her closet. Finding the two piece bathing suit she began to strip and slipped over some flip flops and landed on her butt. Rolling her eyes in irritation she began to change.

She just looked around more and couldn't believe all this. Suburbs and city houses look much different then her house which was basically out in the middle of nowhere. Rin also looked around at the other houses that were around and she knew her own house was quite big mostly because farm houses were and with the animals in her house and everything she was glad they had a big house. Three herding running around she was glad even though one was small but still a big house was always nice to have. Then she noticed Kim finally come out of the car and she smiled as she just kept walking around the front of the house, checking it over.

She looked almost like a housing inspector or something with how she was moving. Then she looked over when the other girl spoke and she giggled "why thank you" Rin just hopped up and then walked in and she smiled and her eyes seemed to light up seeing everything. "Wow, these houses are sure different then mine" she just kept looking around see everything and she loved it and then heard Kim say something about drinks and she smiled "thanks and I'm fine right now" she then kept exploring the inside of the house taking in everything because it looked nice.

But then she looked over to the pink haired girl as she spoke and she giggled. "No it's alright, I might like girls but I'm not a pervert so your fine, I'll stay down here" Rin laughed a bit more then explored into the kitchen and then thinking about what just happened caused her to blush. She hadn't seen a girl undressing for a long time, since her last girlfriend which she had about two years back when she was sixteen. She shook her head to get those thoughts out of her head and she just kept looking around until she came back into the living room and then sat down on the couch, waiting until Kim came back down.

Calming her heart beat down she thought about what Rin had said. She didn't want to be disappointed she didn't follow, but, she also knew they had just met. Right now they were friends, so...no need to rush. The two piece bathing suit was a white bikini top and bottoms, a perfect color she thought when she chose it. Though, holding them in her hands she mused if this color was the right choice for a swim. Standing there naked she bent down to examine what other choices she had. Standing up she held a one piece bathing suit that was blue, but, it just didn't seem her. A one piece bathing suit was safe and not too much to look at, though, it did draw attention to her butt. She talked of not being a pervert, and yet here I am trying to choose an outfit she'll drool over.

Throwing the swim suit down she paced the length of her floor and pondered. The last time she went swimming was some time ago; which would explain the mess her closet was in. She owned four swim suits, and well, it was like choosing a proper ending to a essay. Biting her lip she sat on her bed and crossed her legs, her green eyes staring at the mess and wondering if her mom would freak or first ask why she had done this. "She won't care what I wear," she smiled, "it is the company that counts right?" Soon as she said that she lowered her head and felt her pink bangs hover before her eye sight. Damn, she thought, I hope I'm not keeping her.

With resolve in her eyes she went and chose her pink bathing suit. Wearing a pink bikini top she stared in the mirror as some cleavage showed. Pulling up the bottom half she posed and winked at the mirror. "I hope I still have the body for this," she thought aloud. Grabbing a fresh pair of clothes she put on some shorts and a loose fitting top over her bikini. I better keep the revealing till we're there. Parting the bangs from her eyes she slid her feet into some flip flops and got her phone in case her mom called. Closing the door she paced herself down the stairs and smiled hoping Rin was still there. "Alright...lets hit the farm."

She just stayed on the couch, not getting into anything. It wasn't her house so she was going to stay on the couch and not bother anything. Because she really didn't know if there was anything around that she could break. Rin sighed a bit, she hadn't put her bathing suit now that she thought about it but she could do that once she got home, it didn't take much. She wondered what Kim was doing up there, probably figuring out what to wear, lesbians may like only girls but they did still have a girly side. Even she admitted that she still had hers even though she tried to hide it most o the time since most thought she was a tough lesbian.

She then got up again and went back into the kitchen and she looked into the window to see anything else that may be around. She noticed there was a little bit of a backyard to her house but couldn't see much from where she was right now. Rin then wondered what was taking her until she heard Kim's voice then she looked over to the stairs and smiled. "Alright, lets go" she then took out her car keys from the her pocket then headed back outside. It wouldn't take too long to get back to the farm from here, and she went down this street when she came home from being in the city.

Rin then came to the car and got in and started it. She then put the air conditioner back on since the car was hot. It did when it was left in the sun which she didn't like, she was just glad the interior wasn't leather. Or they wouldn't be able to sit in the car but she felt the temperature getting cooler which she thought was good. She then waited for Kim to get in so they could head out, from here it would be about a fifteen minute drive which isn't bad, if there was no traffic then it would be about ten minutes which wasn't bad either. It wasn't like it would be a half hour or an hour to her house, and she hated long car trips, especially if she was the one doing the driving.

Kim smiled and followed Rin out the door. Pulling out some keys she locked the house and made sure that no one would try to get in, unless it was her mom. Nothing could shake her smile as she made her way to the car. The air conditioning in the car felt nice and she moved her feet about in her flip flops while she waited. She knew from her mom taking her to school on days she wasn't busy that a car got tempermental left in the hot. Today was going to fun, she knew that from the moment she met Rin and Oreo in her school. Even if the trip was long to the farm, she would just sit there listening to the music and Rin.

"Did you bring your bathing suit with you?" Kim looked at her with a grin. I wonder what she'll wear, she thought still wearing a grin. She doesn't look like she is wearing one under her clothes, but how would I know? Eeek, she panicked, I can't be thinking such things. Think of the farm and what fun the two of you will have. Shifting the weight of herself she stared out the window and closed her eyes. The main she had turned was she was feeling a blush coming on. Rin just seemed to bring out this side of her, and well, she was so insecure for so long. At least insecure meant safe...now she wasn't feeling like that.

"Um...what kind of music do you like to listen to?" She cleared her throat and tried not to sound so distant staring out the window. Trying to get her mind off stuff this was the best way she could fight past her dirty thoughts. The blush was slowly fading and she let out a relieved breath. I'm a pervert she thought, a very bad one. Hopefully she wouldn't take offense or anything by her question. The two were friends, so, getting to know each other wasn't anything bad and all...right?

She looked and noticed Kim come out and then get into the car and she smiled. Rin then pulled out of her driveway and then head out to get back to the farm which would be really nice. Her eyes were locked on the road knowing as soon as she got back to the house she would be putting her bathing suit on because she wasn't wearing it right now. But she was in such a hurry when she left she didn't get the chance to put it on like she wanted to which sucked in her mind but it wouldn't take much to get changed into it when she got back to the house. Which seeing where they were they would be there soon which was good.

As she kept driving she noticed that she got caught by another red light and she sighed. "Ugh...I hate red lights..." she just stayed there, keeping her foot on the brake but then she looked to Kim and when she spoke she shook her head. "No, since I was in such a rush I never got the chance to put it on, but it won't take much to put on once I get back to the house" then she looked back to the road and then the light turned green and she then kept going. Then she turned onto the road and heading out of the city and she smiled since now it was just a straight drive to her house off to the side.

She kept driving and then she heard Kim speak once more and she smiled a bit. "Oh I listen to pretty much anything, if I like it then I'll start listening to it and everything" she was pretty open when it came to her music, she didn't even really have a favorite genre of music since she liked pretty much anything. When it came to music she was pretty open minded. Then she saw her house and she smiled as she pulled into her driveway then shut off the car "well, here we are" Rin then soon heard the dogs barking who were still outside, Kasha standing with her front legs on the fence, Oreo and Toby on the ground just barking.

Kim nodded her head as Rin commented on red lights. It was true that red lights were essential in preventing accidents, but, they were also prone to cause irritation in drivers. Red lights and stop signs prevented people from getting places faster. When her mom is late for work she often curses under her breath and sometimes she feels responsible. Usually she walks to school, but when her mom gets the chance she wants a little bonding time. If bonding time involved listening to her curse and complain, bingo. The red light stayed for a bit and Kim nodded her head in understanding as she spoke of the rush she was in.

Plus, it gave her time to visualize her in a swim suit. What color was her favorite? Did she wear a one piece or two? Did she keep her hair down or would she put it up in the back? So many questions went through her head that she hardly paid attention to the music playing. The roads were pretty deserted out here so as soon as the red light played its tune they were out in the open. The buildings disappeared and were followed by stretches of abandoned fields or ones that were for sale. When Rin spoke of her like for music Kim smiled and looked over at her.

"I feel the same way about music," she said. "I don't have one artist I listen to, whatever sounds good of that artist I'll listen to." The farm was up ahead and she could feel the car slow down as it hit the gravel area. The dogs barking could be heard outside the car and Kim couldn't stop smiling at the paradise she was in. Unbuckling and opening her door she stood up and let the fresh wave of air tangle in her pink hair. "So, care to make the introductions?" Kim spotted Oreo nearby, but the other two she wasn't familiar with. Closing the door with her hip she walked a little forward, but didn't stray far from Rin.

She was glad to be home and not worry about anything else. She was off the road, and she didn't like all too much. Yes she liked to do it since she could anything she wanted but her parents made her do the running around which she didn't like so much but if she now working on the farm full time then she had to. Her parents did supply milk to most of the supermarkets around and some of their animals were used for meat as well. Plus she got a paycheck every week like if she was working somewhere else which was good and they made good amounts of money which was good too and she loved it, plus it was with something she loved.

But then she looked to Kim and smiled when she got out of the car and she then looked to the dogs again. Then hearing him speak Rin giggled then nodded "oh yes! Well the bigger one that looks a little wolfish is Kasha, she's a Belgian Tervuren and of course you've met Oreo the Border Collie, and the little one is Toby, he's a Cardigan welsh Corgi, their all nice but being herding dogs their just hyper so they might jump on you but they won't harm you in any way, their all very well trained." Her mother used to work with dogs and her father had background in it too so all three dogs were trained very well.

She then went over and let the dogs out but she whistled quick to get their attention. They all stood there and looked at her and Rin got them into a sit and she smiled then walked over to Kim with her hand up to them to say stay. She then stood there to make sure they stayed and she smiled "go greet" all three then went over to Kim and at first started sniffing, Oreo then wagged his tail then licked her hand since he had seen her before, Kasha was still sniffing her then Toby jumped up a little but Rin whistled and he got right down and then Kasha wagged her tail then jumped up to lick her face a couple times then got right down.

Then she guessed she might as well go in and put her bathing suit on. The dogs seemed to be ok then she headed over to the house and then looked in to see no one was home, her father was making a few runs and she found a note saying her mother and sister headed out with their horses for a ride. "Looks like my parents and little sister are out, I'm going to put my bathing suit on so you can come in and I'll be done in a minute" Rin then went up into her room and tore through her dresser then found her light blue two piece bathing suit with the tropical flowers and matching skirt that came with it.

Rin changed into it, not shirt on but she put the matching skirt on with the bathing suit. Then she went into the bathroom and grabbed two towels then came down and she looked to Kim and blushed a bit "alright, I'm all ready to go" she then noticed the dogs again and she shook her head, sometimes she took them with her but not this time. "Ok normally when I go to the pond I ride my horse down but I'm guessing you don't know how to ride so we'll walk, it's not too far away." She didn't mind walking, it might be nice for a change plus Raine looked content with what was doing so she would walk to the pond this time.

Kim was amazed at the diffrent breeds of dogs here. They looked so energectic and friendly, not like most guard dogs. Trying to stand still to not intimidate the dogs or in any way pose a threat she kept her smile plastered on her face. Oreo she had already met so the dog was wagging his tail enthusiastically. The other dogs were sniffing around her and she tried to keep her giggles down as their noses went up against her bare leg. Once they got her scent in they were happily wagging their tails and Kasha began to jump up and down. It must be nice having them to talk to, she thought with a grin.

The dogs were well trained and the pitch of the whistle caused them to respond instantly. It was amazing how powerful a whistle was. The whistle had a different frequency on humans then it did on dogs. In fact, they had such good hearing, that a doggy device made a silent sound that could bring a dog from any direction. The length of time that went into training a dog to herd animals though, well, she did not know the answer to that. Following behind Rin she admired the house. It seemed nice and cozy and had about the same size that her own home had. Watching Rin read a note she decided to follow her inside, rather then stand out and be a stranger.

"Alright, take your time." Kim began to walk around the extent of the living room and whistled in admiration. The set up was a little different from her own, but, it seemed cozy enough...plus for guests that couch looked good enough to plop down on. Walking over to a counter she stared at some pictures of Rin when she was younger. Kinda cute, she blushed. Hearing steps come her way she spun around and was blown away by what she saw. Was it hot in here? She was quite, er, sexy if that word applied...which it did. Walking to the door she listened to Rin speak of walking.

"Rin...you look hot," Kim blushed, "sorry...I mean good. You know, maybe there is another way we can ride a horse. You know...with you in front and me behind you...though if you don't want to its alright..." Now I feel foolish, she thought, to even suggest something like that. Still, Rin really did want to ride a horse. And, as long as she was close to Rin, the ride wouldn't be that bad really. All in all, wasn't the point of this so the two of them could spend time together and have fun?

Rin just looked around to make sure she really looked good. It seemed like she looked alright and she made sure the dogs were alright which they seemed to be. But then she looked over to Kim and seeing how she looked and she blushed more then giggled. She thought she looked weird in a two piece but it seemed to the pink haired girl that was another story. "Oh why thank, I'm sure you'll look hot to when I get to see what's underneath those clothes of yours" she had a bit of a lustful tone to her voice when she said that last part as she then walked back to the back door where it went out to the fields and barns.

The dogs rushed right over and she giggled then opened up the door and then looked to Kim. When she spoke she thought that might work "we could try it, here I'll let you meet the horse we'll be taking" Rin then headed out to where the horses were and when her Palomino Raine layed eyes on her, she trotted right over. She then gently ran her hand down the horses head and through her mane. "This girl is Raine, she's a pure bred Palomino, she's about twenty so she's still young" The horse whinnied a bit and she giggled as she then headed into the barn to grab her reins and saddle to get her ready.

She went into the field where Raine was and got her hooked up and lead her out. Rin then got her brush and ran it through her mane and tail then across her body to make sure it was ok and then she made her way to getting onto the horse, she then patted the side of the horses neck then looked to Kim and smiled. "She's good with everyone so you won't spook her or anything" she then held out her hand so she could help the other girl on the horse then they could get going. She looked over to the distance and she smiled as she waited to get going and they start having fun.
