It was another day she had to work, but she loved it. Rin quickly got up at six in the morning like she was used to so she could get up and take of the animals. She had to feed the chickens, cows, horses, plus get the horses ready since today was bath day for them. She loved her horse Raine was a pure bred Palomino which her parents bought her for her thirteenth birthday who she personally took care of herself. So she put on a black tank top with her blue jean skirt and her striped leggings and she pulled her hair back to keep it out of her face so she could get to work.
She then headed outside to the chicken coop and got the chickens awake and ready. "Good morning ladies and gentleman, it's time to get up for breakfast" Rin giggled as they got up and rushed right over to her and she laughed as she walked out and they followed her out to their big enclosed area and she spread some chicken feed mixed with corn for them. Once they were out she headed out and went to the cows, her mother and sister always milked the cows. Sometimes she was milk Kelsie who was her favorite and the one her sister named. So she got them fed and ready for milking.
Then she went to the stables and she smiled, she loved horses and her ranch had about eight of them. Including her mother's Pinto Storm, her father's Morgan Cooper, her sister's little pony they had just bought her Princess, and of course her horse Raine. Rin got them fed and got their head reins on them to be taken out of baths later. That took her until eight in the morning to finish up everything, and it was going to be a bit warm. "Wow it's hot, I might have to go swimming later" this made her wish she had a girlfriend she could take with her, they could either go to the lake nearby or the bay out a little farther.
She could drive so that wasn't too big of deal. But then standing there she quickly remembered something. "Oh shoot, the ducks!" she had remember they picked up some ducks which were in their house who she took out in the field everyday and to the little pond they had set up for them. Rin went over and got them out and fed them too "I'm sorry guys, I almost forgot about you" it was always around this time of day when people who stop nearby to see the animals which she loved, she never minded people coming to look at the animals, she enjoyed it especially if cute girls came by as well.

( oh i'll stay up 'til you're next to me, 'til this house feels like it did before )Waking up early isn't necessarily Haruhi's forte, and in fact, she wakes up about thirty minutes later than she has to in order to catch a bus to a ranch.
"Shit!"
[/color] she shouts, before clamping a hand over her mouth and checking whether she'd awoken her twin brother. Thankful that that hadn't been the case, the female slips out of bed and takes a quick shower - slipping on whatever clothing she could reach without having to make an effort and placing on some socks half-properly. She reaches for two hair ties in order to place her long hair into two ponytails, a standard brought about that must be done everyday. In a rush, Haruhi nearly forgets to put on a pair of sneakers, but she does, anyway; and she places a soft kiss to the forehead of her brother before rushing out the door and into the wide, open streets of Tokyo. Knowing that she'd missed the earliest bus, Haruhi figures there's really nothing wrong with using the subway, other than the fact that she might just fall asleep and miss her stop. Nonetheless, the girl goes over the the station and gets a ticket, thanking the clerk kindly and waiting for the train to appear. Her luck rises when she finally sees it coming, and she steps in, hand reaching for the hold so she won't fall over with the sudden stops and gos. Biting on her lower lip, the female looks around her, and all she sees are businessmen. Wrinkling her nose in slight distaste at the serious atmosphere, she takes out her music player; one earphone in place as she listens to a song. The music is uplifting, cheerful, and the girl knows that with this she'll be able to do her job just fine. But what job is this - what could possibly make her unnerved enough to hate missing a bus to some unknown place? Zoology. A branch of Biology, the course she's taking for college, Zoology mainly focuses on animals. Haruhi's got a paper on it she has to write, which will account for about fifteen percent of her trimester's grade, and what better way to write about the behavior of animals than by seeing them firsthand? The girl had done her research, found a ranch that was on the outer areas of Tokyo, and there you have it - the reason for her wanting to leave the house so quickly. The ranch was supposedly filled with chickens, cows, all those wonderful animals you can name - and some of the best horses in the country. Haruhi could never miss a chance of seeing those horses, of writing about their behavior and the movement of their bodies, and, hell; she's sure she'll get a fucking high grade for this. Once she reaches her stop, she gets off at the station, and walks out into the sunshine. It's about forty-five minutes past eight, if her memory serves her right, and Haruhi is under the impression that people over by the ranch wake up early. The place can't be that far from here, she notes, and so with a backpack over her shoulder and her ponytails bouncing with every step she takes, the girl makes her way towards it. When the ranch is in sight, Haruhi beams. Her brisk walk turns into a run, and she enters it with a bit of an incredulous air. She'd never seen a ranch up-close before.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote] words : 577 ;; sorry it's so long!

She had finished up with the ducks and noticed it was now almost noon. Rin sighed a bit bringing back some hay that was going to be for the horses later she noticed her father and sister come out. "Rin, time to bring the horses out to bathe" he heard her father yell and she smiled nodded rushed right now. "Yes papa, and their all ready to be brought out" she knew her mother was out at work today so it was only her, her father, and her sister to bathe the horses. Her cousin who would come and help as well was sick so he couldn't come in and there was about ten horses so it was going to take a while.
But she didn't mind it as she brought out all the horses with her father and sister. She hooked up the first one to the poll they stayed on when being wash and got everything ready to go. Rin used the gentle shower on the hose nozzle to spray them down so it didn't hurt them. She then looked over and noticed some people walking by noticing the horses, she saw a woman and a small child walk by and the child became excited seeing the horses and she giggled a bit. Once that horse was done they got started on another one, each horse took about a half hour to forty five minutes to wash.
It was after three horses that she started to get a bit tired. But she also started to get hungry, since she hadn't eaten lunch yet as well which didn't help. She sighed a bit then out of the corner of her eye she noticed a girl walking by, she was kind of cute even though she couldn't see much of her in her current position. Rin then finished up the horse she was working on then let him out into the field then got a better look at the girl. She really was cute, she then smiled at her softly. "Hi there!" She waved at the girl then smiled once again then she got started on the next horse needing to be washed.

( oh i'll stay up 'til you're next to me, 'til this house feels like it did before ) Haruhi's beaming cheerfully at the little homey, farmy, pure smell of the ranch, and she walks into it like she belongs, not recalling the last time she'd ever seen a place like this. The last time Haruhi had ridden a horse had been a long time ago, she figures, considering the fact that she recalls the sensation and not the time. It was probably back when she still had her real parents; back when her family was still whole. Unfortunately, that happens to not be the case at this point in time, and the girl is walking deeper into the ranch when, out of nowhere, she hears someone shout.
Haruhi turns her head towards the direction of the voice, pretty sure that it had been a woman who'd just greeted her to this great little ranch. Aqua-colored eyes blink in response to it, and the female smiles happily at the sight of the one who'd called her. Her feet take her towards the woman, hefting the backpack higher up her shoulder, and then when finally she's close enough, she says her greeting back with an almost-flirty grin.
"Hi yourself, pretty lady,"
[/color] the twin-tailed girl murmurs, heading over to where the woman currently was; a delicate brow raised in obvious incredulity in regards to the horse that had recently been released on the fields. She watches it for a few seconds, running and moving its body in a beautiful harmony with its muscles, and then her attention is turned back to the woman who cleaned it. The stranger's pretty, this Haruhi is sure of, and she seems to be nice, too. "Do you want me to help you?"[/color] she asks, walking over to the girl and watching her get started on the next horse.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote] words : 293. now it's short D8

Rin kept looking back and forth between the girl and the horse that was in front of her. She then noticed her mother's house was next in line after this current one to be washed. She couldn't help it because she thought the girl was cute so she wanted to get a better look at her but she knew she had work to do. So she thought she might as well get started. So she picked up the hose and dosed the horse in water to get it nice and wet, then she picked up the special shampoo that had to be used when bathing horses. Since their sick was kind of sensitive but she got it covered in it the best that she could.
She then got it up into the mane and into the tail as well and once it was all soaped up she rinsed her hands. Rin then picked up the hose again then rinsed the horse down and got it ready to head out into the field with the others. When she finished she heard the girl speak to her and she smiled and giggled a bit as well. Then hearing her ask if she wanted help she smiled "sure! I could use the help" She then went over and opened up the gate to let her in. This would get done faster if someone was helping so she guessed she could finish quicker then finally make herself something for lunch.
She then brought up the next horse and she smiled and gently patted its side. "This here is Storm, she's my mother's horse and she's a Pinto, she's a sweetie" the horse snorted a bit then shook its head with her mane flipping around a bit. She then grabbed the brush and then grabbed another one and handed it to the girl. "Oh! How silly of me, I'm Rin" She smiled then picked up the hose and started to hose the horse down "cleaning them is simple, just use the shampoo on her then gently scrub her down, then she can be rinsed." Rin then finished spraying her down and she then got started with the washing.
