The fine aroma of the city filled the young teens senses as he made his way down the streets of the charismatic shopping district. There were people everywhere and, as always, he was amazed by the sights and sounds of the big city. He had grown up in a small village outside of Okinawa, and finally being able to move to Tokyo was a big step.
Teal colored eyes looked in the windows of the shops, looking for something to buy. Something nice. Something with style. And most importantly something to replace the suit he lost to some older guy that said he was cold. A soft sigh escaped his lips. He was wayyyyyy too kind to people that didn't really deserve it. Another soft sigh as he made his way towards the edge of the shopping district, finding a small little shop with a bunch of neat little trinkets.
He went in and bought a few items then returned to his journey, finishing off the day once it started nearing dark. He made his way slowly back towards his home alone in the apartment complex at the far edge of town. His wallet in his back pocket, the tiny flashlight attached to his belt loop.

Quietly almost silently a tall red haired figure clad in all black walked down the street looking for the right prey. Said prey was a small teenage boy that looked a little out of place and intimidated by the city. Those were always the best marks to have. They usually had lots of money and weren't aware that pickpockets were everywhere. Axel smirked and walked forward running into straight into the boy knocking him back a little. As he did so he slipped his hands into the boy's pockets and pulled out his wallet and unhooked a small light from the boy's hip. "Oh, excuse me.." He said as he walked passed the boy and into the nearest alley. He stopped just inside from the sidewalk and listened to hear the boy's distress if he realized what had happened.

Akira blinked a few times, uttering out small apologies at the man that had run into him. he stumbled back a bit. "I'll be more careful next time." He moved back and started walking down the street. It was getting more dark in this area of town where there weren't a ton of lights. He started shaking a little and grabbed at his belt loop. But.... It wasn't there. Had he dropped it? No... It was just there. He knew it was. Maybe it fell off when he had bumped into that guy. He could just buy a new one. He still had a little bit of money left from his over time at work that week. He smiled and reached for his wallet. It wasn't there either.

Axel smirked a hushed a laugh. He loved to listen to people's misery. He looked down at what he had taken and realized for the first time that he had actually taken a flashlight. now why on earth would someone carry around a flashlight. It's the city there are lights everywhere. Ha.. Maybe the kid is afraid of the dark. He started to feel a little bad for the kid which was was something new because he rarely felt anything for anyone else. He knew what it was like to be deathly afraid of the something... He shuddered and and shook the thought from his mind. That happened along time ago... He let out a small sigh and walked back out onto the side walk. He couldn't believe he was about to do this. He sighed again and started walking back toward the boy. As he passed he dropped both the flash light and the wallet in front of him. He didn't say a word he just kept walking.

The teal colored eyes that were filled with fear blinked as the man returned his items. No why on earth would he do that? He had stolen them from him, and yet, for what? He reached down and picked them up. All of his money was still there. All of his pictures, his cards, and his flashlight. He clung to it, flashing it on and off a few times, keeping the small silver light in his hands.
He followed after the man. "Wait!" he called, his voice soft and gentle in tone. "Why did you return my things? If you had planned on stealing them... then why...?" He asked.

Axel sighed and turned around and looked down into the boy's eyes. They were so innocent.. so pure. They were nothing like his own. They were hardened by so many years of pain. He hid it well but there was also sadness in them. It only came though in moments like this when he did something nice or remembered his past.. "I.. don't know.." He said after a few more seconds of looking into the boy's eyes. He sighed once more. "You should be more careful with your things. Keep your wallet in your front pocket. It is harder to steal there." He didn't know why he was talking to this boy. He did after all just steal his stuff. Axel wasn't a nice guy he was cruel and vicious. He wasn't about to say that he felt bad for the kid or that he understood what real fear was. He finally broke eye contact and started to turn around to leave, but something hit him and swayed a bit. He let out a heavy breath and leaned against a wall. "no.. not now.." He he said though clenched teeth. Slowly the edges of his vision blurred and he started to slid down the wall. At the very last moment he caught the gaze of the young boy and two words barely above a whisper escaped his mouth, "Help... me.." Axel wasn't always a delinquent. He was once a sweet and innocent young boy who happened to go up with a terrible family. At first he loved them even though he almost every night he was not only physically but sexually abused. Slowly but surely the innocence that filled his heart was drained. It was replaced with hate, anger, malice, and an even greater part was filled with fear... A soft sigh escaped the lips of the young red haired boy. He was dressed simply in long sleeves and long pants even though it was pushing 90 degrees. He walked slowly though the town carrying two bags filled with the food he would need to cook dinner for his parents and two sisters. He was wearing a very convincing mask of happiness, but on the inside he was breaking apart. If he hadn't had so much practice with his facade he would have broken down and cried at the smallest things, but he knew better. Causing a scean would only upset his father. He walked slowly home and began to cook dinner the moment he got there not even sitting down to rest his tired feet.
It was a few hours later when his father came home from work. As he walked in he looked at the table. It was almost completely set except for a few small things that were taking longer to cook then Axel had planed for. His father's eyes narrowed as he walked into the kitchen. "Is it so hard to cook a simple meal for me!" He screamed in Axel's face. He didn't object all he did was look down and say that he was sorry and that he would try harder tomorrow, but that wasn't good enough for dear old dad. His father brought his hand back and struck Axel in the ribs knocking the wind out of him and sending him falling to the floor. "Now hurry the fuck up!" He yelled and walked back out the dinning room and sat at the head of the table and began drinking. Axel quickly brought out the rest of the food and went to get his two sisters. They, unlike Axel, were treated like princesses by their father. There would have been a third sister if his mother hadn't had complications and lost the child. ever since that day his mother had done nothing but gamble and drink all of the their money away. Axel finally sat at the very end of the table after both his sisters and father had finished eating. He had only eaten a few vegetables when his father stumbled over. He was obviously drunk. "Hey there son..." He said with the wicked grin he always wore when he was about to do vile things to axel. All axel did was sit there not saying anything and looking down at the barely eaten plate of food. His father laughed and grabbed his by the back of his neck. He didn't struggle. That would only cause his father to hurt him worse and enjoy it all the more. His father laughed and drug him off to his room.
Several hours later Axel exited the room and carefully closed the door. He didn't want to wake his father. He walked past his sisters room his eyes full of resent. He sighed and walked to his room. He didn't even go take a show to wash everything away. He didn't have the energy... All he wanted to do was lay down, and that is what he did. He crawled into his bed and covered himself with a sheet. He shuddered and started to cry silently into his pillow. A breath hitched in Axel's throat and a single tear rolled down his cheek.

((omg i wanna cry....))
Akira quickly found some help and had Axel moved to his small apartment. Only one bedroom and not a lot of space. There was a small night light on in the corner of the room by the bed, but other than that it was dark in the bedroom where Axel lay. Akira was in the kitchen beginning to cook something for dinner. He was worried about the man that had collapsed in the streets. A soft scent of garlic and butter sifted through the place. He stirred the meal on the skillet and set the table.
Slowly he washed himself up and peeked into the bedroom. Was the an still going to be there? Was he going to be awake? Another soft sigh escaped his lips. He shook his head. What did any of that matter. He was going to help this person that had stolen from him, yet returned his goods, then asked for help when he suddenly collapsed. It hadn't been the heat of the day, as it was rather cool outside. What exactly was it then? Why had he been shaking and crying? And why had it taken 3 other people to help him get this man home? "Uhh... Are you awake?" He asked softly.

Axel groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He looked around the dark room and found the door. The same boy from the street was looking in. He heard his say something but his brain was taking a while to process everything. He slowly sat up the fuzzy feeling going away with each new breath he took in. It finally went away completely and he let out a long sigh. "yes.. I am alright." He answered rather politely. "Where am I?" He asked the boy as he met his eyes teal eyes in the darkness. Axel felt a little strange it had been a while since he last had an episode like the one he had had what could have been a few hours or days ago for all he knew. It had been even longer since he had waken up in the place that he didn't recognize or know the exact location of. It was a little unsettling, but he wasn't going to let someone else see the fear in his eyes. He realized that he had been staring directly into the boy's eyes. He quickly averted his gaze hoping that the darkness had hidden his pain.

Akira smiled lightly and moved into the room, bringing in a tray of food he had prepared for the man. "I thought you might be hungry, so I made some chicken and some mashed potatoes for you." He set the tray on the table next to the bed. Whatever the food was it did smell delicious. "You're at my house. It's not much but it's really all I can afford right now." He bowed a little, crossing his hands over the front of him. "If you need anything else, feel free to ask. I'm afraid I didn't have anything to drink but water, so I hope that's alright." He slowly began to turn and make his way towards the door. "You can rest in here until you're ready to go wherever. I'll be sleeping in the living room tonight."

Axel looked over at the tray of food and then at the boy. He didn't say anything until he started to walk away. He wasn't really hungry, but he was extremely thirsty. "Thank you..." He whispered and took a drink of water. It was rather refreshing. His throat very like he had been screaming his head off for hours.. That thought disturbed him. Had he screamed while he was reliving his past. He shook a little. He didn't care if he barely knew this boy. He didn't want to be left alone. He slowly brought his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around them. "please don't go... don't leave me alone...." He whispered, a very small part of him hoped that the boy didn't hear and left him alone to his misery. He started to shake and few tears fell down his cheeks.

He blinked a bit and stepped back into the room. "You... want me to stay?" He asked. He had wondered why the man had been screaming for the past few hours, and he had the uncontrollable urge to launch himself at him, wrap his arms around him, and comfort him while he cried, relieving all his pain and misery onto someone else's shoulders for once. He slowly made his way to sit on the bed next to the man and curled his legs up. "Are you going to be alright? I'll stay here if you wish."

Axel quickly moved over and wrapped his arms tightly around the boy. He buried his face into his chest pushing the boy into a laying position next to him and started to cry. It was the normal type of crying. It was really heavy once in a few years type of cry were you hold nothing back and let it all out. He started to shake even harder. He hadn't cried like this since he was boy no older than the once he clung too right now. It felt really good to let everything out for once. He had gone so long not showing his true self that he had forgotten how broken inside he really was.

Akira just held him as he cried, his arms wrapped entirely around the male weeping in his arms. "It'll be alright mister.... No one's gonna hurt you anymore..." He whispered, his voice soft and calm and quiet. "It's gonna be alright..." He softly stroked the mans hair, entangling his fingers in it and marveling in the softness of it all. He didn't really know what to do other than just sit there whispering comforting sweet nothings into the man's ear as he cried, running his gentle hands over his back and his hair.

A few minutes later the tears slowly began to lessen. Axel breathed in deeply and let it out slowly. He clung to the boy tighter. He was warm and it felt good to hold someone, even if he didn't know a single thing about that someone. He breath began to even out and return the their regular rhythm as he slowly pulled his head back and looked into the boys eyes. They were soft and innocent like his had once been. His own were no longer cold and harsh. They looked like the eyes of a caring a gentle person. "Thank you..." He whispered not looking away from the boy. There was something about him that he found comforting.

A soft smile crossed the boy's lips, but his eyes said that he was going crazy with worry and concern for this man. "It's no problem really." He smiled again, his eyes softly closing as he nuzzled into the other male again. He was warm. And for once Akira didn't feel alone. "It's nice just having someone here again, even if I know nothing more about them than that they tried to steal my wallet..." He laughed softly and cuddled against him. Akira was known to cling to people he decided to comfort.
